In this exciting beginning level, 2-part workshop, learn how to cut stained glass and combine it with basic direct mosaic techniques to produce fabulous light gathering objects of art. Use of colorful stained glass, (rather than traditional tile or dishes) on a translucent surface is what makes this workshop a unique experience! A materials list will be provided upon registration with specifics regarding what to bring~ stained glass, glass object and tools.
In the weeks between the first and second meeting, you will work on and complete your project at home.
