In this beginning drawing workshop practice strategies for seeing basic shapes, edges and values. Using pencil, practice shading and contour drawing. Notice negative space and positive space while using 2-D reference as well as drawing from 3-D; from what is right in front of you. We will set up a still life (an an arrangement of objects) with simple items to practice these skills. No previous drawing experience required. Perfect for those beginning their creative journey or refreshing their skills. Materials list given upon registration.
