Get creative and make a one-of-a-kind patchwork tote bag inspired by your own imagination!. In this beginner-friendly workshop, learn how to combine fabric and embroidery to create your own little textile scene on a canvas tote. Start by drawing your own designs on fabric, then turn those drawings into colorful fabric patches and attach them to your tote. From there, add embroidery stitches around the patches and learn how to embellish your design with plants, flowers, palm trees, sun, borders, textures and any other details you would like. There is no need to follow a specific pattern; your tote will be completely your own! Come play with color, fabric and thread, and turn a simple tote into a little piece of art! No previous embroidery experience needed.
