Just in time for the Holidays!! Fabric baskets make beautiful home decorations and holiday gifts. These baskets are quick and easy to make and a clever way to use up scraps of fabric, old clothes or yarn! Delight your children by turning their outgrown clothing into keepsake baskets. This is a great project for quilters who want to use up fabric. Fabric baskets can also be a very healing project for anyone who has lost a loved one, by making a "memory basket" out of their clothing. Please bring scissors and a sack lunch.

COPPER OR BRASS HOLIDAY ORNAMENT
Stars, angels, trees, birds, bells, reindeer or abstract forms! These are just some possibilities for the holiday ornament you can create in this workshop using thin-gauge copper or brass sheet and basic metal working tools and techniques. Cut, texture, and form the metal dimensionally. Learn to twist, coil and sew wires and attach colorful glass beads to add detail to your design. Create a decorative brass hook and your ornament is complete.

Learn to make a variety of flavored vinegars using fresh herbs. Beautiful in their glass jars, these works of art are also delicious to taste. Your vinegar can be used to flavor salad dressing, marinades, sauces, condiments, soups, etc. Recipes, herbs and two bottles will be provided. Also learn creative ways to package your product with hang tags, ribbon and other wrapping material. Create the perfect gift!

Using decorative papers, photos and text, create a mini-collage to be encased between two circular pieces of glass. The glass circles will be sealed with copper tape and soldered to complete the ornament. Your finished work of art will be able to hang on the tree or decorate a window or wall and will be passed on to future generations.
