In this 4-week after-school hands-on art class, your child will explore a variety of folk art projects from Native America, Mexico or the Pacific and Caribbean Islands. Lessons may include mask making, tapa cloth, weaving, mosaic, drawing or painting. Students will gain improved dexterity from the focus and calm achieved by making art.

AFTER-SCHOOL DIGITAL ART WITH PROCREATE 4-weeks | Ages 10 - 17
Your young creator will discover the world of digital art in this immersive 4-week after-school class using Procreate; the iPad app. Perfect for beginners, this course will guide them through the basics of digital illustration, provide a hands-on experience and teach essential skills to kickstart their journey into the digital art realm. Your child will be introduced to the Procreate interface and tools, and learn basic drawing and painting techniques on the iPad. They will understand layers, brushes, and digital canvas manipulation. Experience practical exercises that will put their newfound skills to use. “Procreate has everything you need to create expressive sketches, rich paintings, gorgeous illustrations and beautiful animations.” Your young artist is to bring an Apple iPad with the Procreate app installed, and an Apple Pencil/Stylus.

SPLATTER PAINTING, JACKSON POLLOCK STYLE Ages 7 - Adult
In the style of Jackson Pollock, who was famous for producing art by splattering paint, you can drip, dribble and drag acrylic paint across a canvas. Let loose and have fun expressing yourself with this simple abstract method. There is something incredibly therapeutic about watching your art emerge as you splash paint onto canvas.

TEXTILE ART CAMP Ages 7 - 14

Your child will spend five days exploring a variety of fiber art techniques. Lessons may include weaving on a frame loom, hand sewing, basket making, embroidery, dyed, painted or printed fabric using plants, dyes or paint and more. Campers gain improved dexterity from the focus and calm achieved by working with textiles.
