A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity. Do you want to discover or recover your creative self, but don’t know where to begin? Are barriers keeping you from being fulfilled? Then this powerful 12-session course for aspiring and working dancers, singers, actors, writers and visual artists is for you. In a supportive and safe setting you'll encounter a myriad of art forms. Through readings, exercises and discussions, your imagination and productivity will be tapped. Bring a copy of The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and an 11” by 9” unlined sketch diary. No previous arts experience necessary. There will be no class meeting on March 2.

THE BUSINESS OF BEING AN ARTIST

This informative workshop offers valuable ideas on the business side of becoming a professional artist. Learn how to become a legitimate business, how to organize your paperwork with regard to income, expense deductions and taxes, and how to present yourself to the world without appearing to be a flaky artist. Discussions will cover resumes, creating a good portfolio, how to approach a gallery and get your work accepted to art shows, and much more. This is the class they didn't teach you in Art School.
