LAURA HANSEN, MSW, is an artist, Expressive Arts facilitator, Professional Coach, and former business executive. She has worked in private practice for over ten years using expressive arts and professional coaching to facilitates groups and individuals in transformational growth to support deeply satisfying, creative, and sustainable life changes. She leads workshops and retreats internationally in Intuitive Painting, Visual Journaling, SoulCollage®, and other Expressive and Healing Arts modalities. Laura is especially interested in the intersection of art and spirituality and creating environments where people can learn to listen to their intuition, trust their inner knowing, and rediscover how nourishing it is to engage in creativity as play. As the former owner and director of a large company, she knows from personal experience the importance of work/life balance and finding ways to nourish our inner lives in the midst of demanding outer lives. Laura’s background includes a Masters in Clinical Social Work, a degree in Studio Arts, twenty years of yoga and Vipassana meditation practice, graduate studies in Expressive Arts, and Certification as a Professional Certified Coach. She is a Master Facilitator of The Intuitive Painting Process and a Registered SoulCollage® Facilitator.

Laura has studied with new thought leaders such as Jack Kornfield, (Insight/Vipassana Meditation) Thich Nhat Hahn (Zen Meditation), Jon Kabat-Zinn (Mindfulness Meditation), Seena Frost (Founder of SoulCollage®).
